Matariki

Matariki Today is Matariki,Matariki means it is Maori new year. During Matariki There is a culture dance and they tell lots of stories they especially tell the story about the seven stars. In the sky there are seven stars during Matariki the seven stars come to up before the celebration of Matariki begins. After all the culture dances and the stories we get to eat. After i ate i went to the beach with my whole family. When we arrived at the beach i saw my uncle and he already lit the fire just to keep him warm. As i walk to the fire with my uncle to keep warm my uncle told me lots of stories then the very last story he told me was about the seven stars.
